I just had to check out the new show Century City partly because it's set in 2030, but mostly because it stars lovely Brit boy Ioan Gruffud (from the fabulous miniseries Horatio Hornblower and soon to be seen as Lancelot in this summer's King Arthur with Clive Owen of Croupier as the King). The story revolves around a Century City law firm dealing with futuristic ethical and legal issues such as frozen embryos, cloning, and the like. Interesting idea but the execution is rather blah and the dialogue very stilted and cliched. I'll give it another go next week though to see if it improves.
